Galina Munroe (b.1993, France) is a British-French artist. In 2014, she received her bachelor’s degree from the European Academy of Art in Brittany, and two years later, she got her master’s degree from Central Saint Martins in London.
Galina’s creation infuses tender feelings and exquisite texture into classic still life, presenting a poetic texture of collage by extending the rudimentary shapes. The artist transforms daily items, be they fruits and flora, plants or bottles and ceramics, into her unique personal totems, and by merging the passage of time with colors and canvas fragments, explores a form of multi-layered painting with textural surface.
