Michael McGrath (b. 1977, New York, USA) is an American artist who graduated from Ithaca College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. He lives and works in New York’s Hudson Valley, USA.

Michael’s works are inspired by his current upstate NY environment and its history, but also in his curiosity in the cults of mysticism, mythology and religion through the lens of naivety. The artist uses elements such as religion, mythology, and magic to add an ethereal color to his work, and uses the penetration of “faces” as an exploration of existentialism.
